Did you know seated office work is a primary contributor to back and neck pain leading to workplace injuries? The average cost of a repetitive motion injury (RMI) or cumulative trauma injury is $40,000 per case according to the California Department of Industrial Relations!
Seated work injuries due to repetitive motion are highly preventable. It’s not intuitive to know how to adjust a chair or workstation. Sign your employees up for Office Ergonomics: Working in Comfort® to reduce organizational risk and ensure your employees know how to work safely with the equipment you have provided them.
A healthy workforce knows how to work safely and with good ergonomics through self-correction, self-care, and safe work practices. This training teaches employees (who work in the office) how to reduce exposure to ergonomic risk factors and ensure they feel comfortable and productive at their workstations in the office.
After training, students can put into action ergonomic concepts and practices! Use our new game to help set up Jessie correctly and make sure she practices safe work behaviors. Employees apply these techniques to their own workstation set up. Watch a quick demo.
